Green tea is widely known for its high antioxidant capacity, thanks to its high vitamin A, C and E content and trace minerals, such as zinc, copper and magnesium. However, its antioxidant capacity can be traced back to its high polyphenol content (catechins). One of these, EGCG (or epigallocatechin-3-gallate) is very active. EGCG is a substance that is 20 times more antioxidising than vitamin E and 100 times more than vitamin C.
Green tea can also act as a gentle stimulant, in addition to subtly activating your metabolism, enhancing the transformation of fat into calories.
Dissolve one heaped teaspoon of Infunant Green Tea in a cup of hot water. It can also be served over ice. Drink with main meals.
